Images generated by artificial intelligence have become the norm on social media. Especially in election campaigns, posts created with the help of AI are appearing more and more frequently. The authors have previously given the artificial intelligence a detailed description via text input – so-called prompts – and the algorithm has then spit out the finished image in a few seconds. This approach is very popular in right-wing populism, as it allows statements and messages to be exaggerated. It is also possible in music. The platform Active Fence monitors hate online. It has now published a study on songs that spread hate.
Bilder, die von Künstlicher Intelligenz erzeugt wurden, sind in den Sozialen Medien mittlerweile zur Normalität geworden. Besonders im Wahlkampf tauchen immer häufiger Posts auf, die mit Hilfe einer KI entstanden sind. Die Autoren haben dabei vorher der Künstlichen Intelligenz eine detaillierte Beschreibung per Texteingabe – so genannte Prompts – gegeben und der Algorithmus hat dann in wenigen Sekunden das fertige Bild ausgespuckt.
