First Lollapalooza in Berlin (2015)
Erstmals fand das Lollapalooza Festival in Berlin statt. Die Idee, Indie-Bands und Ökostände für ein Publikum zu vereinen, entstand vor 24 Jahren bei der Abschiedstour der Band „Jane’s Addiction“. Nach Brasilien oder Chile ist das Festival dieses Jahr erstmals in Europa angekommen. Das Resümee ist durchwachsen – doch die Veranstalter geloben für das nächste Jahr Besserung.
For the first time the Lollapalooza Festival took place in Berlin. The idea to unite indie bands and eco-stalls for an audience was born 24 years ago during the farewell tour of the band “Jane’s Addiction”. After Brazil or Chile, this year the festival has arrived in Europe for the first time. The résumé is mixed – but the organizers promise to improve next year.
